Assuming that you have a big fridge with big storage for your food where you can store your food for weeks or even months, have you ever experienced the disappointment of taking food out of the refrigerator only to realize that you have no idea on when the food was stored?
This is often the case with very busy moms who are trying to juggle family and work responsibilities and it’s very often that the food buried deep inside has expired without your notice. Chances are, you might find buried treasure like this and never know for sure if it’s still fresh or rotten since it is now frozen. And no amount of sniffing can tell you if it’s fresh to put on the microwave.
A pretty nifty gadget has just been invented for that and it is designed by a Korean design company by the name of Yeom Ha-Na.
The product known as the Foodmer Food Expiry Reminder System is simply a stickable strip which can be programmed with the freshness duration and comes with an automatic countdown system. The strip will go red once the duration has ended ensuring you have not cooked your way into the hospital.
Of course, the gadget is also pretty cost effective since it would allow you to see which foodstuffs are about to go down the drain making you save a lot instead of wasting precious food. Not only would it allow you to save on food, but due to its stickable interface and programmable timers, it can be reused on any food container whether its glass or plastic.
